Getting started

Look up public IPv4 or IPv6 addresses from your server in three steps.

  1. Sign in through Users.life

    Login, signup, email verification and password recovery use Users.life. Successful sign-in returns you to GeoIPy.

  2. Create and save an API key

    Create a key in your dashboard. The full key appears once. Keep it in private server settings, never in browser code or public repositories. Replacement invalidates the old key immediately. Revocation or expiry stops new requests; accepted requests may finish.

  3. Send a request from your server

    Run the documentation example on your server with your saved key. Viewing this guide does not create keys or send lookups.

API usage

Successful requests, including cache hits, use your allowance. Pending requests reserve capacity; failures release it. Usage resets on the first day of each month at 00:00 UTC. Changing a plan or key does not reset usage.

Subscription billing periods and UTC calendar-month API quotas are separate.
